With so much bad news in the world today, it is our delight to present to you the good news (gospel) of Jesus Christ.

The Word of God tells us that the Lord Jesus Christ came to this earth as a man and died not for His own sins, but for the sins of all mankind. Even though His death, burial and resurrection make it possible for everyone to be saved that salvation only becomes effective in ones life when he or she receives Jesus as their personal Savior. In order to “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” one must first understand some basic Bible facts. These are:

1) The Bible is the Word of God and is the absolute authority of right and wrong for mankind.
Psalm 19:7 – The law of the Lord is perfect converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. (KJV)
I Peter 1:23 – Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (KJV)
John 17:17 – Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. (KJV)

2) The Bible declares that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”. One becomes a sinner in the eyes of God the very moment they break even the least of God’s commandments.
Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (KJV)
Romans 5:12 – Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (KJV)
James 2:10 – For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. (KJV)

3) Once an individual sins against God they must pay the penalty for their sin which is death and separation from a holy God for eternity in hell and the lake of fire.
Romans 5:12 – Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (KJV)
Romans 6:23a - For the wages of sin is death… (KJV)
Revelation 20:14-15- And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV)

4) No amount of good works or deeds can remove the penalty of our sin.
Titus 3:5 - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but by his mercy he
saved us.
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.
5) Jesus Christ was/is God in human flesh and died for the sins of all mankind having none of His own to die for.
I Timothy 3:16 – And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (KJV)
Hebrews 7:26 – For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners and made higher than the heavens. (KJV)
I Peter 2:22-24 – Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 6) The death of Jesus was sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of all mankind including yours.
I Peter 3:18- For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit. (KJV)
I John 2:2 – And he (Jesus) is the propitiation (substitute) for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. (KJV)

7) Not only did Jesus die for your sins, but He rose from the dead and now has the power to forgive your sins and make salvation available to you.
I Corinthians 15:3-4 – For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: (KJV)
Hebrews 7:25- Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. (KJV)

8) In order to receive this free gift of salvation, you must turn (repent) from your sins
and receive Jesus as your personal Savior from sin by calling on Him to forgive your sins.
Luke 13:3,5 – I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (KJV)
John 1:12 – But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (KJV)
Romans 10:13 – For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (KJV)
I John 5:12 – He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life (KJV)
